Pauline Dawber, born in Manchester, England grew up in South Africa, West Africa, Malaya, and Singapore. Educated at Brentwood Boarding School for girls in Lancashire. Pauline's writing developed organically; it wasn't something she had planned. " I have always loved reading books. Books have been a great support for me throughout my life. They have travelled everywhere with me. As a youngster, my family lived overseas. My Grandmother used to send, from the UK, rolled-up comics every week. It was the highlight of the week! We lived in Kuala Lumpur at the time.
