Sharon Barnes is a Native American author who lives in rural TN with her husband, children, grandchildren, and fur babies. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Austin Peay State University and two national certifications for Interpreting for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She has received several awards for her poetry. Shanghai Sunset was a top ten finalist in the Actions/Adventure category of the 2023 Claymore Award.

It amazes her how many countries and cultures have dragons in their legends. The supernatural world has always fascinated her and it is often incorporated in her stories.
