Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, the author is a product of his upbringing and environment. Growing up on a sailboat was a perfect segue to a 20-year stint in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. An avid reader at an early age, he was indoctrinated into the world of literature by the works of Clancy, Herbert, King, L'Amour, and Tolkien. Retired and living his best life with two lazy Rottweilers, Merlin and Happy. He can often be found skulking the local Ren Faires in the guise of a sketchy old miser.
