The idea was gelling well before her first two published children's books: The Gifts of Baby Duck, published in 2017, and Coyotes: The Way of the Wild, published in 2019. This story veers away from her nature series about animals that live on the shores of Sturgeon Lake, Alberta, Canada. As one of the artists at Tellwell Publishing, he has contributed to numerous book projects.
