In this sapphic fantasy introductive story of Aubviel - a late-teen of mixed elvish blood - resides within the Arc District of Amaford. Join her as she fights to withstand the tyrannical suppression of her overly possessive once noble merchant father, making it difficult to be her true self. Despite her inner strength and the loving support from the small number of people she can consider friends, the threat of being married off for her father's benefit puts her at risk of being indefinitely trapped.
As if that wasn't enough, the sudden discovery of a mysterious clairvoyant power leaves her with more questions than answers. Will this magical discovery help or hinder her path of liberation from her father's plot? Will she find a way to be with her one true love?
Zack Brooks is a writer who likes to dabble in the fantasy world. He deals in the generic fantasy realm, but also dips his toes in the world of urban fantasy. With his main series being the Trials of Amaford, it becomes clear that sarcasm could be considered his first language.Outside of writing, Zack is a husband and a father of three. All whom he lives to embarrass at every opportunity. Being a nerd and a homebody from New Hampshire, it's no wonder he has chosen to spend what little free time he has clicking away and filling in those blank pages that scream to be filled.
