Love, longing, and labyrinths - explore the magic of long-awaited, supernatural, and trapdoor-secret relationships but be ready to mend the cracks they leave behind in this issue of Baubles From Bones.

In nine new speculative stories: memories of an ocean rescue bubble up in an old man and a family knits together when a baby crawls from the surf. Two carvers tunnel out of a blind castle, a boy struggles with his antlers, and an AI relishes in the drama of humans' love lives. For one, the call of the fae world is a cruelty and for another, it is an escape both uncanny and comforting. Flowers bloom from a whisper. Fleece regains its magic. Through three new poems, find the passion of a love kept secret, discover the reflection one's self casts in the stars, and shiver with the anxiety of a long-awaited rendezvous on a crumbling iceberg.

Featuring a mix of established and emerging writers, Baubles From Bones: Issue 5 offers a variety of eclectic, queer, and far-reaching perspectives with the stories and poetry to match.
