How when I was three, I was adopted from Russia and moved to America. I was blessed to get the family I have. The moment I was in the airport, the moment I saw you, my sissy. I ran fast to you. After seeing the pictures of you, I was able to match the picture to you. However nothing could prepare us for the life we'd have. All the challenges and struggles we're easier with you. The way you support me and help me is beyond what I ever thought was possible. You saved my life, without hesitation. I'm proud of you and far you've come. I'm proud of the way you've grown in your faith. I'm proud to call you sissy. I know you're going to go far in life and live the life you want.

I'm Lindsay White. I'm twenty years old. I write poetry and lyrics for music. My goal in anything I write is to help other people with their problems and struggles. I want my words to resonate with the reader or listener, inspiring a deep reflection. It is my desire that the words will spark a conversation with the reader and with others about their lives and the people in them. My poems are designed to cause people to look into the world's needs and the need for change. I want my audience to not just think deeply about themselves, but other people, seeing themselves and the world with an open mind and heart.
