Karma was his callsign. He never believed in its meaning.
Bryce Rath believed in his team. In the mission. In getting everyone home.

Deep in Afghan territory, a compromised operation left him with one choice.
Call in a drone strike.
It misfired.
It erased his entire team.

Bryce walked away from MARSOC after that. From the mission. From everything that had defined him. His training never taught him how to live once it was over.

So he disappeared. Off the grid. He found work guiding fishing tours. Quiet water. No questions. No attachments.

Then he crossed paths with a family trapped in a town hollowed out by corruption, violence, and men who had learned no one was coming to stop them.

After exhausting every peaceful option, Bryce is left with one final choice: walk away… or burn it all down doing the right thing.

What starts as a decision to help turns into a slow-burn war against a system that protects predators and buries the innocent. Bryce doesn’t set out to be a hero. He just refuses to look the other way. And once he commits, there is no halfway out.
