She guarded her past life with her current one.

Forced into starting a new life alone after a shocking and life-altering personal tragedy, Morgan O'Connell gambled with everything she had left. Forging ahead with sheer grit and determination, she built Harmony Hills Equestrian Center from the ground up into one of the finest horse facilities in Arizona.

With new friend Ty Stanton at her side, she began the painstaking task of learning how to truly live again while privately navigating her past. With Ty's encouragement and unconditional support, she made the terrifying decision to date again.

After a brief and momentous encounter with the woman rushing by him, Josh Wright felt like he'd been punched in the gut. But she disappeared just as quickly as she'd arrived. Captivated by her beauty, and their undeniable connection, Josh sought her out. But as he later discovered, she had a dangerous secret that couldn't stay hidden forever.

As an Award-Winning and Best-Selling author, I have often used quotes for inspiration and motivation. Maybe even for direction.

One of my all-time favorites is:

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'WOW-what a ride!'" Hunter S. Thompson

This has been a quote and sentiment I've lived by for nearly three decades...even before I knew who even said it! And to complement it, my own lifelong core belief is simple: "How is one to know what they are good at, what they like or don't like, or what they can do, if they never try and do it?"

So I go out and do it.

Having these two main thoughts taking up space in my head has led me on many interesting paths all across North America from central Mexico to Canada, Maine to Washington, Texas to Alaska...and even into the oceans. I've been in every US state except Hawaii (gotta sell some books!!)--most of them numerous times.

Now I'm writing about my real-life experiences in these places while weaving in some fiction so I don't get sued.

A lifelong equestrian, I began riding horses at age 4 and have decades working with them in about every capacity. I'm an absolute animal lover, both wild and domestic.

While not on social media at this time (except new accounts on Pinterest & YouTube), I'd still love and appreciate hearing (positive things) from you! Please send me a note via my website and brighten my day.

While you're there, be sure to subscribe to my FREE e-newsletter. You'll get a FREE character backstory when you do. And who doesn't like free stuff? I typically send out only 1-2 per month, so I won't flood your inbox. Well, unless something really exciting happens!!

Of course, online reviews with honest feedback are incredibly appreciated (and very much needed) as well. So could I ask you for a favor? Just pop online to rate my wonderful books?

If you just don't know what to write, you can also simply rate it with those pretty GOLD stars! It can't get much easier than that. Thank you in advance.

Happy trails,

Jordan
