If you had the chance to kill Adolf Hitler long before he became the dictator of Germany, what would you do? A group of time travelers, who already spent two years saving history from catastrophic changes in the American timeline, must face that decision for themselves.

While it sounds like allowing him to be killed by another group of time travelers would save millions of lives, the Lifeboat team discovers that doing so turns future history on its ear and many more die, and world dynamics is changed, as a result. So the team gets back together to do what must be done to keep history moving forward on its original course.

But it is not an easy task. Besides the guessing game of trying to decide where the history changers will make each attempt, keeping a tyrannical dictator alive who is responsible for so many senseless deaths takes an emotional toll on the team and threatens to tear it -- and histe know it -- apart.
