About the Author

When Ashley Skolrud was in high school, her classmates predicted she would become an author. Her love of storytelling has shaped her entire life, starting with handwritten stories she wrote in her school's cafeteria which eventually led to her getting an MFA in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University. Her love of magic and fairy tales has inspired all of her writings, and she longs to share her love of fantasy with everyone who crosses her path. When she's not creating her own worlds, she's living in others as a book reviewer for the website "Pixigonal" or teaching teenagers to fall in love with books as an English teacher.
