You’re Not Too Much; You Matter
The book that helps you talk about the hard feelings without lectures or pressure.

Parents, pause here.
I see how much you do, how hard you try, and how deeply you care.
Right now, you’re holding your child’s heart, wondering if you’re doing enough, hoping you’re giving them a better life than you had.

Take a breath. You’re doing better than you think.
You matter in this.

This isn’t just a book. It’s a way in.
When your sensitive child feels overwhelmed, these gentle, heart-centered tales create a bridge to conversations about feelings, belonging, and self-worth.

Inside, you’ll join Mary the TaterTot and her friends as they navigate:

• Feeling left out or “different”

• Coping with disappointment and failure

• Finding courage when you’re scared

• Discovering that sensitivity is a superpower

Perfect for sensitive children ages 6–16, and the parents who love them.

“These aren’t just children’s stories, they’re family healing tools.” Parent review
“This is where healing happens — together, safely.” Parent review

You are enough.
Your presence, your love, your effort: they shape your child’s world in ways you can’t always see.

Come along. Mary the TaterTot is waiting for you.

Mz. Cookie (Jen Weiland) is a professional feeler of feelings. Not much of an expert on how to heal those things. She knows more about what they feel like. And they feel messy. And muddy.Because feelings flip everything upside down- but not in a delicious way like a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. Most days, the feelings feel "normal."Until one sneaks in-the kind where you're trying to stab water with a fork.Where the mud gets thick and wants to pull you under.Where it's hard to breathe.Where you don't know much of anything, except that you're sitting there with the feelings. You know that place-the emotional mud of life. You just... feel. Those feels are real. And when you try to stuff them down?Well, Mz. Cookie can tell you exactly what happens when you do that.(Spoiler alert: it doesn't go away-and she's got a few stories to prove it.)So please.Stop stuffing.Just let yourself feel. You're allowed.Mz. Cookie is giving you permission. She doesn't have a therapist title-more of an unofficial-official title: Friend.YOUR friend. She believes in therapy-she's been to a few, and she knows how much they help.So if you're feeling like you want to harm yourself-please, please go to your local ER.They do care for you. They will take care of you.Talk to someone before making a permanent decision.Give it one more day.Your life is precious. You are needed. The words in this book are shared to help you know you're not alone. That someone knows what it's like. That there is a friend willing to sit with you in the mud.Not to push you to heal.Just to sit in the feels.Because feeling alone-and not understanding what you're feeling-is hard. But you don't have to do it by yourself. You have a friend.Your friend knows you matter.Mz. Cookie hopes you see that. And when the world feels far away, it helps to have someone beside you who simply says,"Same."Not someone needing you to fix it. Just someone being with you. With YOU.That matters. You are seen. You are valued. You are needed. You matter.
