The Emergence of Awe: Reimagining Human Progress for the 21st Century is an accessible, concise (at 160 pages), yet thought-provoking read for curious minds of all ages - particularly students, independent thinkers, and those interested in science, philosophy, and the future of society.

The book examines humanity at a pivotal moment, where rapid technological advances collide with stagnant political and social systems. Drawing on science, philosophy and history, Hayk Sarkissian presents a bold new way of thinking, urging us to align human values with objective reality.

He challenges long-held assumptions underpinning modern society and proposes a philosophical shift to empower human flourishing in today's world of unprecedented change and social upheaval. The Emergence of Awe reimagines our relationship with time, evolution, consciousness and tradition to reveal a fresh path towards progress and purpose in the Age of Intelligence.

Perfect for readers of The Economist, the Financial Times, New Scientist, New Philosopher, Aeon and Wired - and for anyone seeking to broaden their perspective in an increasingly interconnected and complex world.

'We have lived through the age of gods where their actions justified what we could not explain about Nature. We have lived through the age of God where the global moral condition was set to enable us to create a largely just and stable order within societies, to enable us to interact productively. We have lived through the age of ideology, which embodied creative destruction in its fiercest form in the 20^th and early 21^st centuries. But we must now accept that gods, God and ideology need to evolve for humans to not only survive but excel in the Age of Intelligence. We are entering the age of the individual, or the age of Nietzsche's Superman, where each of us can be the Superman. We can set our own values and conditions for morphogenesis in each action we take every single day.

Instead of thinking about what system will govern our country, race or species, we should think about how we can evolve individually to become a positive morphogen and set the right conditions for universal positive change.'
