Lilith: Queen of Shadows and the First Rebel by Enya Reid is a sweeping exploration of the most enigmatic figure of ancient myth. From her origins in Mesopotamia as spirit of the storm winds, to her transformation into Adam's first wife who refused submission, and her reign in the Kabbalistic Qliphoth beside Samael, Lilith has haunted the imagination of humanity for millennia.

This book unfolds her story across cultures and centuries, weaving together sacred texts, folklore, occult teachings, art, and modern spiritual reclamations. She emerges as demon and goddess, destroyer and muse, exile and queen. At once feared and revered, Lilith embodies freedom, sexuality, rebellion, and the eternal power of the feminine untamed.

Written in a Gothic and lyrical tone, Lilith: Queen of Shadows and the First Rebel is both a history and a meditation, a journey into the dark feminine that has shaped myth and mysticism across the world. For readers of mythology, occultism, feminist spirituality, and Gothic literature, this volume offers a haunting experience of one of the most enduring and paradoxical figures ever imagined.
