Dot Miller is back.

In the last few months, Dot’s life has upgraded. A promotion, a gorgeous boyfriend and a flat of her own. Things are looking up. Right?

Overstretched in her new role, Dot finds moving up the ladder just means more work. So, as it turns out, does a relationship, especially when you’ve reached middle-age without ever having had one. And your fella still technically being a Vicar doesn’t help.

As paranormal investigators, Dot & Theo make quite the dynamic duo. But when their latest case unlocks a new, unnerving trick on Dot’s paranormal CV – and the client shows an interest in her beyond just the professional – things develop in ways neither of them can foresee.

Balancing one foot in the land of the dead and the other in the land of the living is as tricky for Dot as ever. Having fought so hard to finally have a life in this one, as the real world and the supernatural collide, how much is she prepared to lose to keep herself whole?
