Superintelligence or Super Threat: Surviving the Age of AI

The most important conversation of our time is happening without you. This book changes that.

When ChatGPT exploded into public consciousness in late 2022, it marked more than the arrival of another tech product, it announced the beginning of humanity's most consequential transformation. Within months, artificial intelligence went from science fiction speculation to an unavoidable reality reshaping every aspect of human society. But while AI researchers debate technical problems and corporate executives make strategic decisions worth billions, the people whose lives will be most affected remain largely on the sidelines.

Superintelligence or Super Threat bridges this gap, translating the most important technological revolution in human history into language that intelligent general readers can understand and act upon. This isn't another breathless celebration of AI's potential or a dystopian warning about robot overlords. It's a clear-eyed examination of both the unprecedented opportunities and existential risks that artificial intelligence presents and a practical guide for navigating the transformation successfully.

The book reveals how AI development is accelerating faster than most people realize, converging with existing economic, political, and social crises to create unprecedented challenges. It explores how AI could solve humanity's greatest problems, disease, poverty, climate change while also examining how it could concentrate power, eliminate meaningful work, and potentially threaten human survival itself.

More importantly, it shows that these outcomes aren't predetermined. The future of artificial intelligence depends on choices we're making right now, about regulation and innovation, about open development versus controlled access, about human enhancement versus replacement, and about whose values get embedded in increasingly powerful systems.

Written for intelligent general readers with no technical background required, Superintelligence or Super Threat is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand and influence the most important transformation in human history. The future of artificial intelligence is still being written. This book helps ensure you have a voice in writing it.

"The choice isn't whether artificial intelligence will transform human civilization, it's whether that transformation serves human flourishing or human extinction. This book is your guide to making that choice consciously."
