This book is intended for seniors and all those whose lives have been touched by us. This includes our children, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours, friends, and the caregivers of seniors. Seniors aged 80 to 100+ are people of longevity, those who push towards and past the average age of mortality. Those aged 65-79 are considered young seniors.
This book of poetry and prose contains interesting facts about Canadian seniors generally, and the poetry and prose reflect what it means to be people of longevity. I am a person of longevity, as the author, having reached the new threshold of old at eighty years.
An Old Timer's Logic represents my perspective on life, as expressed in my poetry and prose. My free verse poetry is a simple and honest expression of who I am as a person of longevity. My prose reflects my journey from a young senior to a person at the threshold of "the best is yet to come!"
