Kendi's world feels upside down - her best friend has found a new "bestie," and all she wants to do is sulk... sulk... sulk. But everything changes after a magical encounter with a magnificent starfish at the edge of the ocean.

With a wiggle, a shimmy, and a whole lot of giggles, Kendi learns one of life's most extraordinary and powerful lessons: when you let go of the things that make you feel sad, disappointed or frustrated - especially the ones you can't change -you make room for happiness to dance back in.

The Starfish Dance is a heartwarming, empowering story and reminds readers - young and old - that even the toughest feelings can be transformed into laughter and lightness. With a message that will stick long after the last page, this book teaches resilience, empathy, and the importance of embracing life's ups and downs - starfish-style!

Whether shared at story time, bedtime, or during life's challenging moments, The Starfish Dance reminds readers of all ages that no matter how big or small, silly or serious the challenge... to let it go - and so the Starfish dance....

Raise your arms high in the air and reach for the sky. Wiggle and shimmy just like the legs of a magnificent starfish and giggle out loud . . .

because it always feels sooo good to let it go and dance!

These empowering sayings are designed to help children and adults face and conquer life challenges and create a fabulous life filled with joy, purpose, and fulfillment. We hope children and adults everywhere cherish all our books, that the message within each book resonates with you and your families, and that reading them becomes an integral part of your family traditions. And, of course, instilling this family tradition-saying every morning and every night... always remember and never forget...I love you every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year of every decade ... For Infinity and Beyond!"
