"Little Star's Adventures" are about a little star with a very inquisitive, loving giving personality. Little Star has one desire throughout all of its adventures, and that is to be a part of what God is doing as it watches from heaven, the life of Jesus and everyone in the New Testament.
The goal of the "Little Star's Adventures" series is to bring the New Testament to life for children. Allowing them to fall in love with the words of the Bible just as God would have it.
We hope you enjoy the stories of Little Star and would walk with Little Star through the New Testament. So, that you and your children can join in the experience as it learns, grows, and understands who Jesus is, why God sent him, and who the Holy Spirit is. Thank you for joining us on this adventure!

Elizabeth Louise (a.k.a. Betty Lou) Ramsey was born in 1953 in Spokane Washington. Her father passed away when she was nine while overseas in the Air Force. Her mother was a schoolteacher for 40 years and passed on the heritage of her love for reading & books. Elizabeth a.k.a. Betty Lou moved to California when she was six and lived in Southern California for the rest of her life. She grew up in the West Covina area of was Southern California She has been blessed with five children, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Like little star, Elizabeth has found many times that she did not feel like she fit in anywhere. Her walk with the Lord has been a very unique and interesting one. The Lord has given her a peace. Elizabeth now knows that the Lord created her just the way he wants her to be and that she is just where she should be. Elizabeth has had jobs in various areas of life. She was a schoolteacher, worked on movie and TV sets, and was a mental health professional. Elizabeth was always a part of praise and worship teams and drama teams throughout her lifetime. She believes that the arts are a gift from God and should be used to glorify his name and his name only! Elizabeth's intent for Little Star's Adventures: At Time to Shine is to have children see that God looks at our heart not at what we do. It's important to help children understand that everyone makes mistakes, but God sees our heart and that's the most important part of our relationship with Jesus! Elizabeth, prays that you and your children will be blessed by the words on these pages and that your children will fall in love with Little Star as she heads toward more adventures in the New Testament.
