A number of people who are in search of employment experience find that despite their education, experience and skills, they are still faced with significant barriers to employment as the result of not having obtained appropriate and/or sufficient work readiness skills, which is preventing them from obtaining sustainable employment opportunities in a career that they would otherwise be qualified for.

Soft skills, or employability skills, have become the hard skills of today's workforce. Research conducted by Harvard University, the Carnegie Foundation and Stanford Research Center concluded that 85% of job success comes from having well-developed soft skills, and only 15% of job success comes from technical skills and knowledge. Yet, employers say that applicants are unprepared for work because of their lack of these soft, employability skills or termed work readiness skills.

H4U2 Consulting LLC has developed and produced this Workforce Solutions Guide that has been used to facilitate workshops and seminars to assist those in the job/career search market, which includes information and interactive tools and activities that are designed to prepare individuals to engage in successful job search as well as securing and maintaining sustainable employment.
