1936. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. The idea of this book came from a series of four short articles published under the same title in the Morning Post. These articles suggest that a book might usefully be devoted to a discussion of those aspects of scientific inquiry in which major problems still await solution. Green cloth, gilt titles. xi and 317 pages including index. Reprint. Top of spine frayed with slight loss. Text block browned. Prelims foxed and a few scattered foxspots to contents. Neat name in red pencil to title page. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched.
