- Octavo, cloth in a dust wrapper. The binding is lightly rubbed & bumped. The extremities of the dust jacket are lightly rubbed & the folds are lightly chipped. The rear panel is rippled & slightly darkened around the edges. 249 & [1] pages. The bottom edge of the book is slightly stained and the bottom corners of the leaves are slightly darkened & rippled. There is an owner's blind stamp on the front endpaper. Good. A Swedish translation by Peter Hallberg of writings by Icelandic author Halldor K. Laxness, winner of the 1955 Nobel Prize for Literature.The text is in Swedish.
