Wie Tom Hollands In the Shadow of the Sword las, wie Fred Donners Muhammad and the Believers volgde, wie Karen Armstrongs vergelijkende blik waardeert, vindt hier een zeldzame Semitisch-filologische studie uit Turks-Nederlandse hand.
