About the Author
After he spent some of his child- hood years there he and
his family moved back to Germany, where he then lived for
the remaining part of his youth and young adulthood.
After graduating from school he then worked as a media
designer for about 2 years before he pursued his dream of
flying helicopters. He began his aviation career by getting
his private pilot's license for helicopters in Germany.
Having done some flying in Germany he then decided to go to
the US to continue his training. Now he holds the FAA
commercial pilot's license with an instrument rating and
also is an instrument-rated flight instructor.
He still keeps his German license valid as well and enjoys
being able to fly both in the US and in Europe when he
visits family and friends there.
