Synopsis
As a weekend warrior, armchair quarterback, elite athlete, parent of an athlete, aspiring athlete, or even a struggling athlete, Alex believes, just like Nike says in its ads, "if you have a body, you're an athlete." And as athletes, we can all improve how we influence others and become more aware of how we are influenced. The biggest thing that we need to understand is how our natural, God-given gifts can also hurt us if we don't have the character to see ourselves outside of the platform of athletics. When we do this, we become better leaders, but it starts with recognizing that we are more than just athletes.
Aligning your words, actions, values, and responses with your foundation.
Assigning who you want to be and the character you will need to have.
Adjusting your relationships, how you view yourself and how you want to be viewed.
Assessing the decisions and outcomes of those decisions can help you become the high-achieving person you dreamed of, both in and out of your sport.
These are all fundamental keys that will help any *athlete become the high achiever they are meant to be.
*athlete-If you have a body, you're an athlete (Nike moto).
