First (authorized) American Edition in the presumed first state dust jacket with the designer's name along the leading edge of the front panel. Minor cloth foxing; very nearly fine in a dust jacket with minor wear. Review copy; the publisher's review slip describing the court victory that enabled its publication, as well as noting the designer, and with a photograph of the author issued by this publisher. While the book was pirated in America a few years earlier, this edition prints a new foreword, the court ruling, and a 1932 letter from Joyce to Cerf introducing this edition. add 6.25% sales tax. All items are guaranteed as described and when purchased through ABE may be
returned for reasons as stipulated by ABE. All returned items should be shipped fully insured. Shipping
charges: $9.00 for the first item, $2.00 for each additional item. Shipping of
sets or unusual items (framed pieces, etc.) will be billed at cost, as will
foreign orders. We generally ship domestic orders via U.P.S., so please supply a
