Hardcover: Condition: Near Fine: original very clean and bright green cloth binding with striking elongated "jj" letters to front board and black and gilt title symbol to spine, with a very small scuff to bottom edge of verso; no previous owner's marks or gift dedication; very clean end papers and text block with no sunning or spotting, other than a few spots to the page edges. Dust jacket condition: Near Fine: striking elongated "U" in sliver gilt and L in blue to title letters. The front flap states: "The complete and unabridged text, now corrected and entirely reset. .this new edition contains the original foreword by the author, the historic decision by Judge John M Woolsey whereby the Federal ban on Ulysses was finally removed, and a foreword by Morris Ernst".
