An attractive English illustrated edition of Stowe's classic, published the same year as the American first edition. Binding rubbed at extremities, bumped at corners. Spine worn at head and tail. A light water stain to the gutter, affects the first three leaves. A few gatherings somewhat loose, discolored. Few pages dogeared. The protective paper of one plate is partly missing.
