UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER THE ROOTS OF A WORLD WAR III BY F.O. MIKSCHE 1952 DJ. I am slipping into offering a rather mixed bag of collectible vintage books, mainly because that is what my own collection is like! Please find another vintage book reconsidering the outcome of World War II; it is titled: Unconditional Surrender-the Roots of a World War III by Lieut.-Colonel F.O. Miksche. The Author examines the basis for a possible World War III. I quote from the flap of the dust jacket: Is Germany alone to blame for everything that happened? In both World Wars hatred gained the upper hand over sensible statesman-like reasoning and when the hostilities ended propaganda became the basis of official policy. The Allies could see their own problems but not those of the vanquished. Were we not all infected by our own propaganda? This small hard cover book (5 ½ x 8 inches 468 pages) was published by Faber & Faber of London dated 1952. It is bound in orange cloth boards with gilt titles on the spine and protected by a printed paper dust jacket. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket however has suffered some wear and tear including small tears and chips along the edges. It is also a bit darkened but not price-clipped. The hard covers are clean and bright and unbumped. Inside the book is unmarked but both endpapers are darkened with shading presumably from the acids of the binding glues. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Seller Inventory # 2263
