About the Author

Kurt Larson has a day job in the minerals industry. When he s not helping out there he enjoys a little writing. His roots are in the old mining districts of Michigan s Upper Peninsula where he earned beer money by writing for the Michigan Tech Lode, Houghton s Daily Mining Gazette, and Ski Racing Magazine. He now lives with his family where the mountains meet the sea in a wonderful remote place called Lochaber on the West Coast of Scotland.
