Under Loving Wings (Faith Lessons from Colorbox Farm)

Sometimes you have to think outside of the box, as one little hen did when searching for a safe place to lay her eggs! In the first of the Faith Lessons from Colorbox Farm series, Under Loving Wings, Kaia Kloster shares a story about a mother hen that hatches out her chicks in a rather unusual place. A careful mother, Henny protects them and teaches them, gathering them under her loving wings. She raises all eight chicks in spite of cats, kids, and other barnyard dangers. Lots of things happen on the farm, so put on your boots and get ready for an adventure! Beautifully illustrated and a delightful read, adults and children alike will be drawn into the world of Colorbox Farm, where hearts are warmed and souls restored. With a delightful storytelling quality and a unique gift to find spiritual truths in everyday occurrences, Kloster shares simple stories that provide a way to bring timeless Biblical truths into modern-day relevance for children. how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings Matthew 23:27 (NIV) This is an eLIVE book, meaning each printed copy contains a special code redeemable for the free download of the audio version of the book.
