A new edition with additions. Small 8vo, original brown cloth, gilt lettered and decorated on spine and front cover, with blind stamped decoration on rear cover. Frontispiece, and with a title page with an illustration in gold of a California gold nugget, and four additional black and white illustrations. Spine ends and front corners bumped with minor loss of cloth, top front corner of pages through page 60 water stained not affecting text. Modest wear to binding. Good condition overall. No dust jacket. 145 pages plus 16 page catalog at rear.
