About the Author

Kenneth R. Ferris received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Ohio State University. An international consultant and lecturer on finance and accounting, Dr. Ferris is a Distinguished Professor at the American Graduate School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona. Kirk L. Tennant, CPA, CPA, CIA, CFE is a lecturer in accounting the Cox School of Business at SMU. An acknowledged expert on small business valuation and accounting, Professor Tennant’s articles have appeared in such journals as Accounting Review, Journal of Commercial Bank Lending, and Auditing: A Journal of Theory and Practice. Scot I. Jerris received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Purdue University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at West Virginia University. The author of numerous articles on finance and accounting, Dr. Jerris is currently a reviewer for Issues in Accounting Education.
