About the Author: Jay A. Parry is a popular speaker and author. He has published several books, including Understanding Isaiah, Understand the Parables of Jesus Christ, and Everyday Miracles. He has served as chair of a general Chirch curriculum writing committee and as a bishop and stake president. He and his wife, Vicki, are the parents of seven children. Donald W. Parry, professor of Hebrew Bible Studies at BYU, has authored a number of books and articles on the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls and has co-authored books in the Undrstanding series with his brother Jay. Don has served as a bishop and a temple worker. He and his wife, Camille, have six children.
