About this title

Synopsis

How does the Church address drug and alcohol recovery? After the “laying on of hands,” does God have a "Plan B”? Does the Bible say anything at all about recovery? How does the Bible define recovery? Are the "12 Steps" referenced? Understanding Christian Drug and Alcohol Recovery attempts to answer these questions by educating pastors, ministers, and caregivers about an effective process for recovery. Those of us who have fallen in love with the Word of God and believe that God's way is the best way are convinced that the Bible offers the best solution. Understanding Christian Drug and Alcohol Recovery lays a foundation for everyone seeking recovery or providing a program by supporting the 12 Steps with Scripture. Churches throughout the United States are employing the steps outlined in Understanding Christian Drug and Alcohol Recovery to help men, women, and teens live drug-and alcohol-free as God intended.
