The natural minor scale (ABCDEFG) is the first step in understanding scale construction. Every other note ( A , C , E , G ) , when played together , form the chords used to play in harmony with the scale (ABCDEFG). Learn to form chords and play solos over the chords' progression. If the notes A B C D E F G are played with the " B " note first , It is the same minor scale , started on the 2nd note or mode ( 2345671). Music, guitar and radio were always a big part of my life .The first time I played an electric guitar I knew I was hooked. I spent the next 35 years researching and practicing guitar, while teaching bandmates and students . I drafted and cleaned up my personal notes to organize and colorize my thoughts .These pages dramatically changed my view of the fret board and guesswork on songs . Soloing by ear, I would eventually write this book to help other musicians.
