Understanding Human Rights

There are a Large number of Books available on `Human Rights` and some more books on this subject are coming out. All these books touch one or the other aspect of Human Rights. They do not give a complete Picture of this subject. The present treatise, `Understanding Human Rights An Overview` is an humble attempt by the author to give a comprehensive, but comprehensible overview of human rights by touching in an Integrated way, all the aspects of the subject historical, philosophical and legal. Various international charters have been discussed in detail and their Relationship with Indian constitution has been brought out. In the Prologue of the Book the meaning and concept of Human Rights have been fully discussed from all angles and in the Epilogue a critical estimate of the present situation of Human Rights has been dealt with and it has been shown that Human Rights, though enshrined in the constitutions of almost all the Countries of the world, but in reality Human Rights is a Myth of the modern age.
