A very comprehensive, easy-to-read math book written for a non-technical audience. Concepts and real-world examples are emphasized. Ideal for adults who desire to help their children with math. Also, excellent for those studying for the GED.
About the Author: Keith Kressin spent approximately two years writing the text. Unlike most authors, Keith wrote every word contained in the book from the table of contents to the index. This ensured that the book was thorough and correct, while guaranteeing that an easy-to-read consistent flow was maintained in moving from elementary to advanced topics. Before publication in 1997, the book was reviewed by students, parents and teachers of all educational levels. All suggestions for improvement were reviewed and incorporated prior to publication. Keith has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the engineering honorary societies of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi. While obtaining his M.S.E.E., Keith worked as a teaching and research assistant. He has also worked at Texas Instruments as both a software and hardware design engineer. Keith is currently attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
