This book is a wake-up call for Roman Catholics. It begins by presenting bad news. Most Catholics are not headed for heaven because their religion teaches them to reject God's word and obey unbiblical traditions of men instead. As proof, the book quotes 37 main Catholic teachings from official Catholic sources. Then the Bible is quoted to show how each Catholic doctrine directly contradicts God's word. Once Catholics understand the truth about their religion, and that they are without hope, they are ready for the good news. The book goes on to explain that salvation is God's free gift. You will learn why salvation cannot be obtained by being a Catholic. It cannot be earned by performing sacraments or doing other good works. The book quotes many Bible verses as it lovingly shows you why salvation had to be free, and how you can receive this wonderful gift right now.

About the Author
Rick Jones became a Christian at the age of 20, while serving in the military. After graduating from Bible College, God led him to serve at a Christian home for troubled teenagers. While there, he dealt with thousands of teens having every problem imaginable. Through the use of Biblical principles, he saw the salvation and miraculous transformation of countless teens. His desire to see these same spiritual principles rescue as many young souls as possible motivated the writing of both "Stairway To Hell" and "How To Be a Successful Teenager."
Rick was born and raised a Roman Catholic which laid the foundation for his third book, "Understanding Roman Catholicism." Having been saved out of Catholicism, he knew the dramatic difference between the emptiness of religion and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His unique background led him to conduct an extensive study of official Catholic beliefs which revealed stark differences between Catholic teaching and the Bible. Not wanting a single Catholic to miss heaven, this book was lovingly written to offer Catholics true Biblical salvation.
His fourth book, When Life is Over, was also motivated by a desire to help people settle their eternal destiny. For years he heard people ask questions like, "Would a loving God really send people to hell? "Aren't there many paths to heaven?" "What about all the hypocrites?" "Where will I go when life is over?" This book answers these and many other critical questions, and shows people how they can know for sure that heaven will be their home when their life is over.
