About the Author: Rev. King Oehmig has been a parish priest for over 20 years and is the vicar of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Trion, Georgia. He has been the founder and editor of Synthesis: A Weekly Resource for Preaching and Worship in the Episcopal Tradition since 1987 as well as founder and Editor-in-Chief of Synthesis CE: A Lectionary Study Guide in the Episcopal Tradition.
