The front page of the book is map showing the battles and major offensives that Iowa's volunteers took part in. Other black and white photos. There are brief histories of each of the Iowa regiments, where they were formed, the commanders and the battles that they fought. There is a list of Iowa's Congressional Medal of Honor Winners and a list of Iowa's population by county in 1860. 104 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
