A Unicorn Ate My Homework

Imagination can take you anywhere.
It's how dreams come true.

How amazing would it be to have an imagination that has you seeing a giraffe sneak into the classroom to steal your teacher's apple? Or maybe it has you wondering whether snakes have pickle-eating contests. Could bats make paper airplanes? Do chickens want to design rockets?

Lindy Loom has a fantastic imagination, but her teacher, Ms. Pinch, doesn't think it belongs everywhere.

Despite feeling a little nervous and anxious, Lindy points out that imagination has a place in art and architecture, science and technology, engineering, music and even math.

The question is, will Lindy be able to help her teacher see the awesome power of imagination?

If imagination can truly take you anywhere, where will it take you? And more importantly, did a unicorn really eat your homework?

Julia is a mother of three (for a while three-under-three) who provide her with daily inspirations and just a few frustrations. She's traveled the world and has lived in five different countries with Egypt as one of her favorites. Julia is eternally grateful to her supportive husband and the cats who share her desk space. She has authored ten children's books and can't see stopping anytime soon and admits that she often writes and edits while sitting in a minivan.

Miro always loved drawing but it took a while before she attempted it as a career. After getting her masters degree in electronics, she worked for a few years in that field and at night would study illustration tutorials and read graphic design books. Then she was offered a position as a graphic designer in a small company. Since then, she's pursued a graphic design degree while raising two kids and moving countries. She has illustrated several books, including her own.
