Unified Data Architectures with PostgreSQL 18 by Levi K. Belcher is your comprehensive guide to building flexible, intelligent, and scalable data solutions for the next era of digital innovation. Whether you are a developer, architect, database administrator, data engineer, or simply someone expanding their skillset, this book walks you through how to design data systems that can grow, optimize, and adapt as your requirements evolve.
Inside these pages, you will discover how to apply advanced concepts using practical examples and clear explanations. You’ll explore how to integrate artificial intelligence into your data pipeline, optimize performance for both analytical and transactional workloads, and architect secure, reliable storage strategies that support long-term innovation. You might find yourself asking: What does it take to future-proof data systems? How do I balance speed, complexity, and reliability? What patterns should I follow to support machine learning, automation, and distributed workloads? This book answers those questions and more in an approachable way.
Throughout the journey, you’ll learn how to:
- Build unified data models that support diverse business needs
- Improve query speed and workload efficiency
- Apply advanced indexing and performance tuning techniques
- Integrate AI-driven analytics and predictive intelligence
- Manage structured, unstructured, and streaming information
- Strengthen data security through layered protection
- Automate tasks that improve developer productivity
- Scale architectures without sacrificing reliability
This resource stands out because it addresses the reality many professionals face today: data isn’t just stored, it’s interpreted and activated. The world continues to lean heavily on insights powered by automation, machine intelligence, and real-time processing—and this book gives you the strategies to keep up.
Do you want to gain the confidence to design smarter data platforms? Are you seeking practical techniques that translate directly into better performance? Would you benefit from industry-tested advice that reduces risk and simplifies scalability? If you answered “yes,” then this guide belongs in your hands.
Written in a clear and engaging style, this book maintains a balance between conceptual understanding and hands-on execution. It avoids unnecessary jargon and focuses on real outcomes—because technology should empower you, not overwhelm you.
Whether you are upgrading your skills, preparing for complex responsibilities, or building your next generation platform, Unified Data Architectures with PostgreSQL 18 provides the roadmap to help you succeed.
Your data has a story to tell. It’s time to learn how to shape it.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
