The Uninvited: The True Story of Ripperston Farm

Originally published in 1979, The Uninvited tells the astonishing true story of an ordinary family in South Wales whose lives were transformed by a series of unexplained encounters in 1977.

What began with strange sightings and unsettling incidents soon escalated into something far more disturbing. UFOs were reported across the area. Vast scorched circles appeared in nearby fields. Television sets and cars mysteriously failed as their wiring burned out without explanation.

Then the phenomena came closer.

The Coombs family found themselves confronted by eerie lights, towering white figures, and even a glowing disembodied hand. Their home became the centre of a mystery that defied reason, disrupted their lives, and left them living in fear of something they could neither identify nor understand.

This is a true story — one that many readers will find difficult to believe. Yet the events chronicled here remain as baffling today as they were nearly fifty years ago. No definitive explanation has ever been found. For the Coombs family, the impossible became possible, the unbelievable became real, and what seemed like science fiction became their daily reality.

Still regarded by many as Britain's Roswell and linked to the enduring legend of the "Welsh Triangle," the extraordinary events surrounding the Coombs family and Ripperston Farmhouse continue to fascinate researchers, paranormal investigators, and readers around the world.

Nearly half a century later, the mystery remains.

The Uninvited is the story of an ordinary family caught in the extraordinary — and of a haunting enigma that refuses to be forgotten.
