Dr. Akikta also uses the philosophy of martial arts science theories and methods to help youth/adult alike to become self-sufficient in mainstream society. In 2009 he received the Master Instructor of the Year award from the Indiana Karate Hall of Fame and is a certified Fatherhood and Healthy Relationship trainer. He is endorsed by Cincinnati City Council and recognized by many local community leaders. Robert is well-known among elite and average citizens, teachers, and students.
