Charles Fillmore and Myrtle Fillmore left the Unity movement with a legacy of a “living” Spirit, vibration, energy, and consciousness that was imbued into their words and works. Mr. Fillmore, in 1923 shared that Unity is based upon 1st century “Christ”-ianity ~ a Spirit-led and Spirit-quickened teaching. In Christ-ianity the “living” Spirit was alive and “lived” not only through the “Way-Shower” of the time, but in all of his Spirit-quickened followers. This was true until religious dogma and doctrine intervened to essentially remove Spirit from the equation, which they then called religion.
The words, thoughts, concepts, and ideas contained in these writings of the Fillmore’s are key to understanding foundational Unity teachings and the heart of the Spiritual Principles underpinning those teachings; especially, as shared through the Unity Correspondence Course.
