Universal Flaws of Robotics

The smell of iron emanates from blood, and humanity has always tried to purge it. We have fought, we have created, and we have seen ourselves in our creations, a hazy mirror reflecting what we choose to ignore. In an iron face, we see the best and worst of mankind: the search for connection, For kindness, For grace ... but also cold detachment, cruelty, and love distorted through metallic shine. For years we have dreamed of the final version of this mirror, the ultimate simulacrum of humanity: we have dreamed of robots.

Ben Wright-Heuman has been a full-time cartoonist since graduating from The Center for Cartoon Studies in 2016.
