Woodcuts; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 651 pages; 1859 Blanchard and Lea. Stout large octavo in original brown cloth with blind stamped borders and weave pattern impressed to the cloth sides. Revised edition. Soundly bound and generally clean. Gilt lettering at spine rubbed and dulled; corner tips lightly bruised with trace fray to the cloth. Mild fray to cloth at spine ends and a short nick to the cloth cover surface. Shallow light damp line top margin of the 2nd half of the book's pages. Hinges a little tender but sound. Illustrated with some woodcut in textillustrations. 32 page catalogue of Blanchard & Lea Medical titles at rear. G++ to VG-. Seller Inventory # 54661
