Item description from seller

Good, apart from binder's error (see below): solid, unmarked, worn at spine ends; one index page bound in a little askew but all there. Hardcover 12mo, 5.2", 160 pp, highly embossed tan cloth, gilt spine titles. This should have the lyrics to @ 155 songs. They are grouped as Sentimental, National, Scotch, Irish, Sporting, and Naval Songs. The latest that I can firmly date are from the 1820's: "Hunters of Kentucky" and "Ode for the 4th of July 1827". I see none from the minstrel era beginning in 1830's. Book is improperly bound, with section p. 49-64 bound in twice, in place of section p. 17-32 (i.e. pp. 17-32 are not there). A scarce book. Worldcat mentions it, but has no record in a library. .
