The University Cat: A Tale for Grown Ups and Graduates (CyberCat Series)

A Tale for Grown-Ups and Graduates

Meet Penny, an elegant chocolate-point Siamese cat with an unauthorised university education and rather a lot of attitude. She lives secretly on campus, slipping into lectures and taking naps on piles of books belonging to the long-suffering Professor Eagle. Penny has fashionable friends, and with her sleek silhouette and creamy-coloured fur, she is much in demand for celebrity photo shoots.

As the annual Dog Show approaches, the campus descends into glorious chaos. Professor Poppett is in training for the competition, determined that her poodle will win, but the Dean and the scheming Head of University Buildings have designs on the trophy themselves. In the Museum, a bashful curator and a dog groomer are falling helplessly and awkwardly in love.

Penny watches it all from the rooftops. But up there, she is not alone. The brooding gargoyles have developed a distinctly carnivorous interest in her.

This is the first book in the CyberCat Series; clever, funny fiction for readers who suspect that cats are far sharper than they imagined.
